Jade Barnett- Director
Jade has been striving in the engineering industry applying a passion for providing new solutions and inventions into many industrial sectors gathering a strong level of knowledge and experience.
You will constantly find him in a hands on roll within the team making sure every job completed is to a high standard and is completed on time and within budget every time. With over 19 years experience in the Engineering industry Jade is “Engineering your future”.
*19 years mechanical and machine shop experience
*19 Years general engineering experience
*12 years experience in workshop management
*5 years experience in international management and multimillion dollar project installations, commissioning and training.
*9 years experience in the motorsport chassis repairs, maintenance and engine building.
*5years managing and running his own successful engineering business.
Jade is passionate about speedway and races a Sprintcar. He loves abit of down time fishing and spending time with his family.
Tamara - Director/ Accounts
You will find Tamara in the office managing all your account needs. With over 9 years experience within the accounts sector, Tamara prides herself in her attention to detail and communication. Tamara enjoys being outside and keeping busy with her family.
Kevin- Fitter welder
With many years experience in the engineering industry, Kevin is a valued member of the team. No one can back a truck and trailer like kevin! When kev isn't in the workshop you will find him enjoying his work life balance exploring NZ with his wife in their campervan.
Mitchell - Apprentice
Mitch has always been involved in some sort of engineering and design with his dad in the shed. He has decided to take on a professional carrer in Engineering with Jade as his mentor to become qualified.
When Mitch isn't here you'll find him at speedway. He has just come out of a successful drive in a Ministock and is moving to a Midget next season.

After 20 years working as an engineer locally, nationally and internationally, Jade Barnett and his wife Tamara decided it was time to put the vast range of skills and experience to use by starting their own business - Advanced Engineering and Design Ltd being established in early 2015.
The company is based locally in Te Awamutu and offers a full range of fabrication, welding services,CNC Machinery, Site work and Steel sales.
Advanced Engineering and Design can provide you with Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining , Alloy welding, Stainless Steel Welding, Site Work, Fabrication, Certified Welding, Racecar fabrication and Job Management services making sure your entire project can be completed.

He has been building and maintaining of their own chassis and component designs through to the building and maintenance of their engines, including engines for multiple classes within the speedway scene winning dozens of championships!
